                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1916
                   GUNBARREL ROAD, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST LINE OF
                   GUNBARREL ROAD NORTHEAST OF IGOU GAP ROAD, FROM
                   R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO C-2 CONVENIENCE
                   COMMERCIAL ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 1916 Gunbarrel Road,
                being on the southeast line of Gunbarrel Road
                northeast of Igou Gap Road.  Lot 7, block A,
                Subdivision of a Part of the Northeast and
                Southeast Quarters of Section 11, Township 6 North
                or 2 South, Range 3, West of the Basis Line, Ocoee
                District, as shown on plat of record in deed book
                T, volume 27, page 620, ROHC; being the property
                described in deed book 1471, page 372, ROHC.  Tax
                Map No. 149P-A-18.
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Growth Corridor Design Standards with dedication of
                   right-of-way as determined by the City Engineer.
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
